Accra, March 9, GNA - The Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) has set up an Administrative Committee of Enquiry to probe the construction and management of the Madina, Haatso and Dome markets. A statement signed by Mr F.T Nartey, Regional Coordinating Director, said the committee was formed following recent concerns relating to the three markets.

The statement said the committee would inquire into the policy decision, examine background information regarding the award of contracts and construction of the markets.

It said the committee would also inquire into the mobilisation and management of funds for the construction of the market, and to find out any other matters that appeared to be incidental or related, which in the committee's opinion ought to be inquired.
