President John Mahama has returned home from Yamoussoukro, Cote d' Ivoire where he participated in the 42nd Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Heads of States and Government.
The two-day summit reviewed on-going efforts to restore peace, democracy and political stability to Mali and Guinea Bissau.
Meanwhile, Ivorian President Alhassan Quattara has been retained as Chairman of ECOWAS for a second term.
The next summit takes place in Abuja, Nigeria.
