The Former First Lady Dr. Ernestina Naadu Mills has urged students to be committed to the regular use of the Bible in order to receive appropriate guidance from the Lord to live a fully responsible and functional life.

According to her, lives will be most enriched when people devote themselves to the careful regular studying and reading of the bible, the holy book.

She said “The Bible instructs us to live a righteous life, and as well as teach us who God is, what He has done and what he expects from His people”.

Mrs. Naadu Mills added that the Bible helps people to discern errors in their lives and to receive God’s correction about whatever wrong actions they have taken in their lives.

She made these statements at her special Bible distribution project at the Sunyani Senior High School in the Brong-Ahafo Region recently.

Mrs. Mills encouraged students to devote themselves to learn about Jesus Christ and develop a personal relationship with Him for that will be a great benefit to them and gain wisdom and knowledge that they cannot get anywhere else minus Christ.

She challenged the students to be focused and prayerful, because her personal encounter with the Bible as a young person was significant, her life she noted was transformed for good.

Dr. Naadu Mills has therefore urged the students to read the NLT Bible and obey it words.

The Headmistress of Sunyani SHS, Madam Georgina Boakye expressed her profound gratitude to the former First lady for selecting the school to benefit from her generosity.

She noted that the school has been a beneficiary from Governments over the years and has therefore called on the Regional Minister of Brong-Ahafo Region, Hon. Paul Evans Aidoo to come to the aid of the School because the school is in dire need of chairs to fill its assembly hall.
