A 30-year-old man has committed suicide at Yaayemma in Sunyani East of the Bono Region.
He has been identified as Samuel Gito, a mason.
He was found hanging in his room and left behind a suicide note.
Reporting on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Nana Kwame revealed that another friend of the mason had secured a contract and so-called the mason to join him in executing the project.
However, he did not pick up the calls, and so he asked two of his workers to go to his apartment to inform him about the job.
They went and knocked on his door several times, but nobody opened the door.
Following this, the friend, who is a carpenter, joined his workers to go back to the apartment of the mason and forced the door to open.
To their shock, they found him hanging and leaving behind a suicide note.
A Bible that had been opened to Psalm 59:1–5 was also seen in the room.
It is believed that the deceased read the Bible before he allegedly took his life.
