Obomeng(ER), Aug. 20, GNA - Members of "Odweanoma" Cultural group, made up of Ghanaian youth and children based in Amsterdam, Holland on Wednesday presented items worth 100 Ghana cedis to the inmates of "Tomo-ni" Orphanage at Obomeng in Kwahu South District. He pledged their commitment to contribute towards running of the orphanage and urged the authorities to put the items to good use for the benefit of the inmates. Nana Kwadwo Afoani Tenkorang, Saanahene of Obomeng, receiving the items on behalf of the inmates, expressed appreciation to the group for the donation. He appealed to other Kwahu citizens in Europe to emulate their gesture.

Mr Benjamin Amankwah, Manager of the Orphanage, appealed to influential Kwahu citizens at home to assist the orphanage to undertake farming to produce food to feed the inmates. 20 Aug. 08
