He urged them to be committed to their work and develop the community and also ensure good sanitation in the area.

He called on the chiefs in the municipality to make lands available for projects to enhance the standard of living in the area.

“There are a lot of projects that needed to be brought into this community but the lack of land for construction is our major concern, am therefore pleading with the chiefs to make lands readily available else the community would be deprived of these infrastructures”.

The Member of Parliament for the Ga Central Municipal Assembly, Mrs Shirley Ayorkor Botchway commended the Minister for the projects but urged that a drainage system be constructed since it is a major challenge faced by the community and its environs.

Mr Aristo Aryee, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) said the economic, social and human cost of the lack of a drainage system and the bad roads in most parts of the municipality requires that drastic measures are adopted within the shortest possible time to address the situation.
