Mpasatia (Ash), July 20, GNA - The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the Mpasatia Secondary/Technical School has decided to purchase a vehicle for the school to enhance social and academic work.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the PTA at Mpasatia in the Atwima District after Mr Kwasi Adu-Gyamfi, the Headmaster of the school, had told them about some of the problems confronting the school including the lack of adequate transport.
The members agreed in principle to pay 200,000 cedis per parent towards the purchase of the bus.
Mr C.K. Ofori Gyamfi, Chairman of the PTA urged members to contribute meaningfully towards the upliftment of the school's image. He pledged the association's preparedness to co-operate with management for the smooth running of the school.
The headmaster expressed his appreciation to the PTA for acting swiftly on the issue of a vehicle for the school. 20 July 04
