The Chief Executive Officer of Aseda Foundation in Sekondi Takoradi, Diana Adjei has rubbished reports published by one Isaac Mensah that the apprenticeship programme by the MP and DCE is a hoax.
In a quick rebuttal, the CEO who was visibly angry with the reportage lamented that everything said in the story were lies and accused Isaac Mensah of conducting interviews just to suit his personal political vendetta against the MP and the DCE and further said little checks by him would have saved him from embarrassment.
According to her, all beneficiaries sponsored by the MP for Mpohor Constituency, Alex Agyekum and the DCE, Ignatius Asaah Mensah are at post and that, anyone can visit the foundation to verify her claims.
Debunking claims made by Isaac Mensah, the CEO of the foundation said some beneficiaries of the programme graduated a day after the supposed interview and present at the ceremony was the DCE who served as the Guest of Honour for the programme.
Moreover, she said her foundation cross-checked the files of the beneficiaries and realised none of them had a next of kin named David Cudjoe as reported earlier by Isaac Mensah.
In the said report, Isaac Mensah indicated that he spoke to a parent of one of the beneficiaries named David Cudjoe who claimed his ward was sacked from the foundation because it was a hoax.
Reacting to this, Diana Adjei said the reporter might have been compromised by some perceived political opponents and wondered why the ward didn’t report to the foundation after being sacked.
She further added that there are over thousand apprentices from Mpohor District who are benefitting from the MP and DCE’s sponsorship programme at the foundation.
She warned ‘disgruntled’ and ‘peeved’ politicians in Mpohor Constituency to desist from using Aseda Foundation for their ‘irresponsible’ politicking.
