Ernest Mawuli Agbesi - NIB CEO
The National Investment Bank [NIB] has supported the Asogli Educational Fund with GH¢25,000.00.
The donation which was done during the annual Asogli Yam Festival held in Ho, the Volta Regional capital, was a commitment of the bank’s resolve to give back to society what society has been giving to it – thus Corporate Social Responsibility [CSR], by way of assisting the less privileged and the needy in society.
The fund aimed at promoting education within the Asogli State provides scholarship to the underprivileged children and support educational institutions within the Asogli State to increase and improve the quality of education of its citizenry.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NIB, Mr. Ernest Mawuli Agbesi, on behalf of the bank and staff made the donation in support of the fund at the Palace of the Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, in Ho.
On his part, Togbe Afede XIV and his elders expressed profound gratitude to the Bank and its delegates for the gesture and, promised to use the money for its intended purpose.
