A National Democratic Congress (NDC) Deputy Youth Organiser for the Savannah Region Hajia Salamatu Saaka has said she wept when she heard the news that a popular NPP Youth group the “Agabuto Boys” in Bole town some of whom are related to former President John Dramani Mahama have quit the NPP.

Hajia Salamatu encouraged the “Agabuto Boys” in Bole to consider joining the NDC because it is a better party when it comes to recognition for its Youth.

“The NDC party will not neglect and abandoned you like the NPP has done notwithstanding all your toils for the party in Bole”; she said.

“I am a native of Bole and I know how those boys suffered for NPP in 2016. They neglected their families, followed people who were staying abroad to places thinking after the party wins power, their suffering ends but as one them said their suffering even started after their own party won power”; she said.

Hajia Salamatu Saaka made these comments on an NDC Saturday evening political show “Ghana Gben” (Ghana is Tired) which is one of the most listened programs on Nkilgi Fm.

The Savannah Region Deputy NDC Youth Organiser also called on the people of the Savannah Region to rise up and support former President John Dramani Mahama who hails from the area.

Hajia Salamatu Saaka listed some development projects of former President Mahama in the Savannah including the Sawla Fufulso road project.
