TODAY AS YOU STEP OUT FROM HOME TO THE ROAD, YOU GO AS A DRIVER, RIDER, PEDESTRIAN OR PASSENGER
If a DRIVER:
Don’t Over-Speed
Don’t Overtake Wrongly
Don’t Drink and Drive
Don’t Drive Tired
Always look out for Pedestrians especially children and stop for them to cross
If a, RIDER:
Wear a Helmet
Ensure your Pillion Rider also Wears Helmet, and
Stop for RED at a signalized intersection
If a PEDESTRIAN: Cross the road at:
“Zebra” marked points, or
At signalized intersections where the Pelican shows Green for Pedestrians, or
On the Footbridge, or
Elsewhere but ensure that there is no vehicle(s) approaching closely
Avoid using a mobile phone when crossing the road
If a PASSENGER: Speak Up! To advise Drivers against:
Over-speeding
Drink Driving
Wrongful Overtaking
Driving tired, and
Driver using Mobile Phone while driving
