NYC solicits the help of the Media to become visible

Ho, Aug. 3, GNA - Alhaji Nabila Mohammed, the Volta Regional Co-ordinator of the National Youth Council (NYC), has appealed to the media to help the Council to polish and raise its public visibility.

Alhaji Nabila said media practitioners owed it as their professional duty and as parents to help the NYC succeed in the interest of their children.

He was interacting with some journalists in Ho where he has assumed duty as the new Regional Co-ordinator of the Council.

Alhaji Nabila said the frequent changes of the Council's supervising Ministries and Ministers as well as its Heads have adversely affected the growth and development of the Council.

He said that notwithstanding, officials of the Council needed to be innovative in creating the platform for young people to assert themselves, become confident and be able to develop to their full potentials.

Alhaji Nabila said he would do his best in addressing the challenges affecting the youth in the region with the co-operation of all stakeholders.
