Death is oficially reported of Nana Atta Fosu II, Piasihene and Kuntanasi Gyaasehene. The sad event occurred on May 14, 2003 in Kumasi. Nana Atta Fosu ruled for 42 years and left behind twenty-five children and over thirty grand and great grand children.
Among his children are Nana Owusu-Afriyie of the Ashanti Regional Tribunal, Kumasi, Mr. Joseph Atta Fosu of New York and Mr. Kwasi Fosu of Massachusetts all in the U.S. Nana Atta Fosu was 95 years old. Burial arrangements will be announced later.
