Nana Mozu Education Trust Fund launched

Apremdo (W/R), Dec.24, GNA -The Nana Mozu Education Trust Fund, aimed at promoting education in the Apremdo Area, was launched at Apremdo near Takoradi on Friday.

Speaking at the launch, Nana Mozu V111, Divisional Queenmother of Apremdo, appealed to corporate bodies, businesses and individuals to contribute towards the fund in order to ensure its sustainability.

She said the area was lagging behind in development because of the high rate of illiteracy and poverty and that she would embark on a vigorous advocacy programme for the establishment of more schools, including at least one well-endowed Senior High School at Apremdo.
