New B/A Police Commander Takes Office

Space FM, Sunyani -Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCOP Mr. James Oppong-Boanuh, has assumed office as the New Police Commander for the Brong-Ahafo Region.

He takes over from DCOP Mr K.A. Opare Addo who is now the Greater Accra Regional Police Boss.

A statement issued by the Regional Public Affairs Directorate of the Ghana Police Service and signed by C/INSPR. Christopher Tawiah, said DCOP Mr. James Oppong-Boanuh took over on Tuesday 9th of October 2007.

DCOP/Mr. Oppong-Boanuh was the Director-General/Welfare and Acting Director-General/Legal at the national Police Headquarters in Accra.
