Baffour Kofi Atosi, chief of Atesikrom, near Dormaa-Ahenkro and prominent poultry farmer, has been sworn in as the Nsuankwaahene of Dormaa Traditional Area at Dormaa-Ahenkro.
Baffour Atosi, 47, known in private life as Mr. Braimah musah, is the Managing Director of Unity Farms at Dormaa-Ahenkro.
He succeeds his father Alhaji Kwadwo Musah, who died two months ago. Speaking at a swearing-in ceremony, Osagyefo Oseedeeye Agyeman Badu, Omanhene of Dormaa Traditional Area, urged the new chief not to lord himself over the people.
He advised him to mobilize available material and human resources towards an improvement in the living conditions of the people.
Baffour Atosi thanked the Omanhene for the honour done him and promised to continue the work of his predecessor.
He pledged to mobilize the people towards the development of the town and the traditional area as a whole.
