Madam Stella Amoatemaa, Nkoranza Municipal Chief Executive, has said there was the need for parents to invest greater part of their resources in the education of their children.

Madam Amoatemaa was addressing the people of Mampong-Line, a settler farming community near Donkro-Nkwanta in the Nkoranza South Municipality, said it was sad some settler farmers refused to send their children to school and rather engaged them on their farms.

Mr. Emmanuel Agyapong-Duah, Assistant Director at the Municipal Education Directorate, appealed to the leadership of the community to arrange accommodation for teachers posted to the area to encourage them to not only accept postings to the place but also to stay long.

Mr. Peter Kwame Sanguru, Assemblyman of the area, appealed to the Assembly to construct a feeder road to link Mampong-Line with Donkro-Nkwanta.

Mr. Sanguru also complained about lack of good drinking water and therefore appealed to the Assembly to provide them with a borehole.
