Mr Oduro who made the commendation in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Cape Coast, attributed the accident free situation to regular highways patrols by the police, adding that drivers were now very cautious.

He expressed the hope it will continue till the end of the year. He said his outfit, would continue with its education and urged all drivers to observe traffic regulations and avoid speeding and overloading. They should also ensure regular maintenance of their vehicles to "avoid preventable accidents".
