The Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors together with Wisewater Foundation, have donated 1, 000 copies of reading books to the Nima Cluster of Schools to enhance their reading capacity.

The book titled “The Right Thing To Do,” which is on the prevention of Cholera and Ebola, is to help empower the young pupils to lead the campaign on proper hygiene in whatever they do for a healthy living.

Mr Emmanuel Amarquaye, Executive Chairman Wisewater Foundation, said the donation was to help the campaign to minimize man-created disasters, such as the June 3 incident, since such occurrences could lead to the outbreak of diseases in the country.

He said as a result of the poor nature of reading among the youth, this book and book markers had been designed to encourage reading at all times.

Mr Amarquaye, therefore, urged the pupils to complement efforts made by institutions, by learning hard to become good citizens and future leaders of the country.

Mr Senyo Hosi, Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors, also advised the students never to give up on anything they did, but should have the will to become successful.

“It is important to study hard to know, understand and to impact society,” he said.
