Operation fix our roads: Two Bosomtwe Assemblymen threaten 'Demo' over bad road

Two Assembly members of the Bosomtwe District Assembly in the Ashanti region, Michael Yaw Nkwanta and Joseph Asante of the Esreso East/Sewua Prabon and Aputuogya electoral area are threatening to hold a mammoth demonstration against authorities of the Ashanti region over the bad state of the Bosomtwe road.

Speaking in an interview with Otec FM's Evans Agyei Sikapa who filed a report on the NYANSAPO Morning show segment Asanteman Akwan #Operation fix our roads now, the angry Assemblymen states that residents in their electoral areas have mounted pressure on them demanding answers on when the Bosomtwe road was going to be fixed.

According to them, even they are aware that the road has been awarded to a contractor, works have not progressed and the contractor has began evacuating his set up camp in the area.

"The bad state of this our road is causing us a lot both economically and health wise and if we don't see the contractor back to work by next week, we will hold a huge demonstration and a surprise action will follow", Joseph Asante emphasized.
