The Dream Children Foundation, in partnership with 3MandC both health service providers, on Friday organised medical screening for the inmates of OrphanAid Africa Young Adult Support Services.
Nana Adwoa A. Ackom-Mensah, Fundraiser of Dream Child Foundation said the exercise was an opportunity to assess the health status of the children to determine the kind of support they need.
She called for donors and other philanthropists to come to the aid of orphans.
Mr John Michael Appiah-Acheampong, Head of Young Adults Support Services said his outfit provides service and support to young adults transitioning into adulthood, through life skills education and career development services.
He said the inmates were tested in Hepatitis B, Blood Glucose, Blood Grouping, Blood pressure among other ailments.
