PBC Shea staff drowns at Buipe

A staff of the PBC Shea Limited in Buipe in the Northern region has died after he drowned in the Black Volta Wednesday.

Aaron Fudzabgo met his untimely death after he and his two other colleagues had gone to the river to repair a faulty submersible pump.

According to reports, the electric power of the pump dragged him into the river after one of his colleagues had started the machine to test if the fault had been fixed.

Several attempts by his colleagues to save him failed.

The body has been deposited at the Tamale Teaching Hospital awaiting autopsy.
