PNC parliamentary candidate buried

Wassa-Adondoe (W/R), Nov 14, GNA - Mr. Julius Appiah, People's National Convention (PNC) Parliamentary Candidate for Amenfi East in the 2004 elections was buried at Wassa-Andondoe, his hometown at the weekend.

Mr. Appiah who was 50 years old died at the Tarkwa Government Hospital in October after a protracted illness.

The burial was attended by hundreds of people including the national and regional executive members of the PNC. The late Appiah, affectionately called "Sakatey" was a Circuit Supervisor at the Dunkwa-on-Offin District office of the Ghana Education Service. He left behind a wife and four children.
