PTA commended for constructing classroom block

Ajumako Bisease (C/R), June 29, GNA - The Headmaster of the Bisease Secondary Commercial School (BISESCO), Mr. Ken Entsie Essien, has commended the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the school for constructing a nine-classroom block and a teacher's bungalow for the school Mr Essien sai d the projects, which cost billions of cedis were funded from voluntary contributions.

The Headmaster, who conducted newsmen round the projects, commended Mr. J. J. Amoah, Chairman of the PTA, for his leadership qualities. He appealed to the Ghana Education Service and the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District Assembly to complete a girls' dormitory for the school started in 1999.

Mr. Essien stated that the dormitory was left with the fixing of doors and windows, installation of electrical fittings, the fixing of ceiling and painting to make it complete. He said the building, which could accommodate about 400 students when completed would ease the serious accommodation problem facing the students. The school has a population of 1050 made up of 550 girls and 500 boys.
