PTA to construct classroom block

Dormaa-Ahenkro (B/A) Sept. 2, GNA - The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of Kings Day Care Early Development Centre at Dormaa Ahenkro is to construct a six-classroom block, office and store at the cost of 100 million cedis for the centre.

The project will be financed through a special levy of 15,000 cedis per child, Nana Bediako Peprah, Proprietor of the School, said at a PTA meeting, adding that land had been acquired for the project to take-off this month.

He urged parents and guardians to provide their children and wards with their basic needs to enhance effective learning and to pay school fees on time for the smooth running of the school. He called for a more cordial relationship between parents, children and teachers to enable the school to grow.
