Parents of senior high school students in Abuakwa North Municipality are expressing their gratitude to the NPP government for recent improvements in obtaining school prospectuses and admissions, a process made smoother this year by new policies.
Parents of students from schools such as Ofori Panin SHS, WBM Zion SHS, and Savior SHS report that the previous challenges of long queues and lengthy waiting times have been significantly reduced.
One parent shared that in previous years, securing a prospectus for her child involved extended waits and complications, but this year, the process was seamless and hassle-free.
Another parent commended the government’s introduction of an online application system, which made accessing prospectuses faster and more convenient. He explained that he was able to complete the process from home, saving time and effort.
In addition to this, the parents praised the Free SHS policy, noting that it has lessened the financial strain on families and made education more accessible for their children.
They are hopeful that the government will continue implementing policies to enhance the education sector, making it easier for parents to support their children’s schooling.
