Ejisu (Ash), Sept. 21, GNA - Mr Mohammed Boakye Agyeman, Ejisu-Juaben Municipal Chief Executive, said on Monday that peace was one of the main tools for development of every community in the world. He appealed to Muslims, particularly those in the northern parts of the country, to allow peace to prevail there. Mr Boakye Agyeman said this when he joined Muslims at Ejisu to celebrate the Eid-Ul-Fitr. He said the only way to break the developmental gap between the northern and the southern parts of the country were for people in the north to live in peace to attract investment to the area. He advised Muslim youth to use Islam to propagate peace, unity and tolerance to prove to the world that Islam stood for peace. Mr Boakye Agyeman told the Muslims to use the occasion to reflect on what the Eid-Ul-Fitr stood for and abide by the teachings of the Holy Quran. 21 Sept 09
