The Chiefs and people of the Bongo Traditional area, have appealed to the government to complete the Jubilee Market that was started in 2007.
The Paramount Chief, Naba Baba Salifu Aleemyarum and the District Chief Executive, Mr Alexis Ayamdor made the appeal when the District Assembly awarded the construction of a 10- seater water closet toilet facility at the project site.
The market project was designed to have market stalls, stores, shades, pre-school and an abattoir among other facilities.
When completed it would help boost the internally generated fund of the assembly.

He said “A lot of traders and businessmen have expressed interest for the market stalls, stores and shades.
“The District and its environs abound in agro related activities and also shares border with our neighbouring countries such as Burkina Faso and Togo. This is a great opportunity we have to explore”.
