Skyfalls Natural Mineral Water in collaboration with Star Micro insurance Service Limited have donated 1000 bags of sachet water to support victims of the recent floods at Kaneshie and Nima in Accra.
This enterprise has been a two-day relief program coordinated by one of Ghana’s finest and quality mineral water, Skyfalls Natural Mineral Water and Star Micro Insurance Service Limited to console the victims; the first of which was donated to residents of Odawna on Thursday.
Richmond Owusu is the managing director of Jares Investment Global Limited, producers of Skyfalls Natural Mineral Water and Edible Ice Cubes.
According to him, during such times, people who were covered by insurance stood to benefit a lot. He therefore collaborated with Star Micro Insurance Service to educate Ghanaians on the essence of insurance.
Skyfalls Natural Mineral Water has been instrumental especially through collaborations with other organizations in donating to flood and fire victims since the occurrence of the heart-breaking flood disaster which occasioned a fire explosion at the Goil fuel station near Kwame Nkrumah circle killing over 200 citizens.
Together with Happy fm and Citifm, 500 bags of Skyfalls Natural Mineral Water were donated to residents of Adabraka, and with Hitz fm 500 bags were donated to residents of Odorna aside that of Star Micro Insurance Service Limited.
Recipients expressed gratitude for the donation mainly for the fact that the bags of water will save them some money for buying water.
