The incident occurred around 8:30 am Friday, TV3's Tanko Mohammed Rabiu reported. Six rooms of the boys' dormitory have been destroyed. No casualties were recorded, our correspondent stated. According to the Assistant Headmaster, Abdulai Abubakari, academic sessions were ongoing smoothly until 8:30am when the incident occurred with no idea of its cause. Our correspondent said residents in Zebilla expressed anger at Ghana National Fire Service officers - whose post is not far from the school - for initially ignoring calls placed to them to rescue the situation. The fire officers have since put the fire under control with investigations set to begin immediately.
