Presbyterian Senior High School marks 10th Speech and Prize Giving Day

The Presbyterian Senior High School at Akuapem Mampong in the Eastern Region has marked its 10th Speech and Prize Giving Day with a vibrant ceremony that highlighted the importance of discipline and academic excellence.

Under the theme "Discipline and Academic Achievement: The Pivotal Role of All Stakeholders," the event saw students and teachers honoured for their outstanding performances over the past academic year.

Donations:

Renowned entrepreneur and guardian of the school, Kwaku Opoku Osafo-Ampomah, chaired the ceremony and emphasized the need for cooperation among stakeholders to achieve academic success.

Mr. Osafo-Ampomah, who has made significant contributions to the school's development, presented a cash prize of GH₵2,000 to Robert Fosu, an outstanding student who excelled in six subjects.

He also donated an additional GH₵10,000 to support the school's infrastructure and academic programs.

The school staff presented Mr. Osafo-Ampomah with a special award for his unwavering support and contributions.

The headmistress, Augustina Agyeman-Koranteng, praised Mr. Osafo-Ampomah as a shining example of how alumni and parents can positively impact the educational journey of the next generation.

The event reinforced the importance of discipline, academic excellence, and collaboration among stakeholders in achieving success.
