President Akufo-Addo to visit Wassa East District on July 23

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is scheduled to visit the Wassa East District on 23rd July 2019.

The day which has been dubbed as Wassa East Day will be celebrated with a colourful durbar, exhibition of public projects completed, planned projects and Strategic Private Sector Investments as well as investment potentials in the district.

The president is expected present the first of 100,000 oil palm seedlings to a farmer at the durbar. In all, 1000 farmers will be given oil palm seedlings.

District Chief Executive for Wassa East, Wilson Arthur has pledged to deliver a memorable day for residents of the district.

On this very Tuesday, 23rd July, the President of Ghana - His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo will visit Wassa East District.

The Chiefs, Farmers and People of the Model Rural District will welcome the President with a colourful Durbar. 100,000 Oil Palm seedlings with support from Minerals Development Fund will be released to 1,000 farmers at the grounds.

The President will give out the first seedling to a Farmer.

The day has been packaged as Wassa East day. St Martin’s Park - home of Skyy FC with seated stands to accommodate thousands of witnesses will be venue.

There will be Exhibition of public projects completed, planned projects and Strategic Private Sector Investments as well as investment potentials in the district.
