Prophetess Beatrice Ayorkor Adjetey was installed as the Development Queen Mother of Sempe Traditional Area in a colorful ceremony last Sunday.

With the stool name Naa Adoley Nmlami I, she underwent all necessary traditional rites for days and was later paraded through the principal streets of Sempe amidst drumming and chanting of praises and admiration for her new traditional and philanthropic role.

The newly installed Sempe Development Queen Mother has been described by many as a leader with the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of others.

The noble Queen Mother has, over the years, joined hands with many communities including La, Sempe, among others, to ensure that the basic needs of the people are provided within the GaDangbe communities and beyond.

Through her Angel Smile Foundation, Naa Adoley Nmlami I has brought smiles to the faces of many orphans and single mothers who cannot provide for their children, especially during school, as well as paying medical bills for the less privileged in society.

Speaking at the colorful and well-organized Royal Coronation ceremony, Naa Adoley Nmlami I pledged her commitment to the Sempe Mantse, Nii Adotey Otintor, and the entire GaDangbe people.

She prayed for God's wisdom and knowledge to move the Sempe Traditional Area and the GaDangbe to greater heights, saying she cannot achieve her goals without the collaboration of the Sempe people.

On his part, the Sempe Mantse and Manklalo of Ga State, Nii Adotey Otintor, stated that Naa Adoley Nmlami I has been doing many good things for the GaDangbe people and her honor and elevation will encourage her to continue her great work for the interest of the GaDangbe.

According to him, her role will benefit not only the Sempe people but the entire GaDangbe community.

He revealed that Naa Adoley Nmlami I has come to join hands with Ga Chiefs to ensure development. He called on all GaDangbe people to forge ahead with unity, bury all differences, and see each other as one people for the development of the GaDangbe.
