Quality education in terms of infrastructure is yet to be experienced by pupils of Boakrom D/A Primary School in the Prestea/ Huni Valley District as these children continue to learn in churches.

These children have no choice but to accept their present situation and learn under temporary structures until the District Assembly honours its promise to reconstruct their collapsed school building.

A frustrated chief, Nana Adansi who confirmed the story to the GNA, said the current situation was hampering access to quality education delivery in the community and other adjourning villages.

Boakrom D/A Primary School is the only school serving the farming community of about 800.

The Roman Catholic, Pentecost and Methodist churches now have extra duty to serve as classrooms for basic four, five and six pupils.

According to Nana Adansi the Assembly's promise to reconstruct the school had not yielded any results.

The Headteacher of the school, Mr Isaac Ohene Brenya, said the community through levies had re-roofed the Basic 02 and 03 for temporal use by the kindergarten pupils.
