The Chief Communications Officer of the QI Group, the parent company of QNET, Ramya Chandrasekaran, has revealed that QNET is actively engaging critical stakeholders across Africa to address, collaborate, and find innovative ways to combat the menace of scams associated with the direct-selling industry.

In an open, transparent, and no-holds-barred media session with journalists from West Africa at the ongoing QNET VCON 2024 in Penang, Malaysia, Ms. Chandrasekaran cited her recent trips to Ghana to engage critical government and security agencies.

"We need to ensure that everyone understands our company and the direct-selling industry adequately." The lack of direct-selling laws in West Africa makes it difficult for law enforcement agencies to work effectively, as they tend to label everyone with the usual scam tag.

"We are not beating around the bush—QNET is against scams. Our business model is about empowerment, not exploitation. That is our key message, and we stand by it," she emphasized.

"We want to work hand-in-hand with regulators and law enforcement to ensure that bad actors are held accountable," she concluded.
