Rotary club of Kumasi assists school

Kumasi, Nov. 5, GNA - The Rotary Club of Kumasi East, has donated furniture to the St. Joseph's International School at Kunsu-Domeabra in the Ashanti Region. The group also gave stationery including exercise books and mathematical sets to the students. Rotarian Charles Amoako, President of the club, who announced these through the GNA, said St. John's Health Centre also received a quantity of treated mosquito nets valued at 3,000 dollars from the group. He said the club was undertaking development projects at Patriensa, Poano, Ntinanko, Krakosua and Domeabra all in the region. Rotarian Charles Amoako said that formed part of efforts by the club to improve the living conditions of the people. Madam Margaret Nellieakunnel, Headmistress of the school, who received the donations on behalf of the school, commended the club for the gesture and appealed to individuals and groups to assist the school.
