Sadiq Abubakar, the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Old Tafo Municipality

Sadiq Abubakar has been unanimously confirmed as the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Old Tafo Municipality, securing 100% endorsement from all 24 assembly members.
Speaking after the confirmation, Abubakar expressed his gratitude and outlined his vision for the municipality.
"I thank Almighty God for ensuring this successful confirmation. After which, I also thank His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for the confidence reposed in me and nominating me as the Municipal Chief Executive," he stated.
Addressing a gathering of people following his massive endorsement, Abubakar pledged his unwavering commitment to progress.
"I want to tell the electorate and the indigenes of the municipality that they should look forward to development, unity, and peace, so that we all move forward as a people for the betterment of the municipality as well as the Ashanti region and Ghana," he added.
He further emphasized his intention to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure the municipality's success.
Recognising the importance of overcoming political divisions, Abubakar said he plans to work with all the assembly members to ensure development.
He also revealed his good rapport with the MP, Vincent Assafuah, and his readiness to work collaboratively with him to ensure development within the municipality.
With a firm commitment to development, unity, and peace, Sadiq Abubakar embarks on his journey as the MCE for the Old Tafo Municipality, fortified by the resounding endorsement of its assembly members.
