Sixteen apprentices graduated in hairdressing in Winneba

Winneba (C/R), Aug. 30, GNA - Sixteen women on Tuesday graduated after successfully completing a three-year hairdressing course at various private hairdressing salons in Winneba. During their training, they were taken through safety and hygiene practices, personal presentation, salon procedures, analysis of hair, scalp and skin conditions, shampooing, setting and dressing out amongst others.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Central Regional President of the Ghana Hairdressers and Beauticians Association (GHABA), Mrs. Selina Aggrey urged the graduates to put what they had learnt into practice. She advised them to pay their dues and honour their tax obligations to enable the government raise enough revenue for development.

Miss Rosemond Mends, President of the Winneba District branch of GHABA in her report commended the graduates for their good performance during their training.

They were later presented with certificates.
