Asankrangwa (W/R), Nov. 27, GNA - Christians have again been advised to emulate the life of Jesus Christ by living in harmony with themselves and members of other religious organisations.

The Very Reverend Father Daniel Kudjoe Abbot, Parish Priest of Asankrangwa Immaculate Conception Catholic Church said Christians should continue to pursue the path of peace and love that Christ stood for. Father Abbot said these at the inauguration of the Saint Theresa of Child Jesus Society of the Church at Asankrangwa on Saturday.

He urged the leadership of the society to work hard and with faith, nurture the new society to become a formidable organisation that would follow the footsteps of St. Theresa and show passion to mankind. Mrs. Ama Sarfo Ababio, Sekondi-Takoradi Diocesan President of the society advised members to be supportive to their husbands and avoid tendencies that would bring rancour and bitterness in their marriage. She said in order for their prayers to be answered, members should be guided by the symbols of love, faith, charity and hope and also surrender themselves to Christ.

Mrs. Agnes Buah, President of the Asankrangwa branch of the society said members would work hard to sustain the society and ensure the growth of the Church.

On behalf of the society, she presented four ceiling fans worth more than 600,000 cedis to the Church.
