Stevens Institute of Technology, a world-class top 100 university in the USA, is being hosted by the world-renowned Nekotech Center of Excellence under the leadership of its Executive Chairperson, Rev. Dr. A.K. Ocansey, who is also the founder of the Africa-US Presidential Forum on STEM AI and MBA.

Stevens arrived in West Africa on September 2 in Ghana, meeting the press and the Minister of Education, Yaw Osei Adutwum.

They left for Liberia with Nekotech for a major admissions drive from Dec 2-4 and will be returning to Ghana for a major drive at the Ga Mantse Palace on December 5 and 6 at the African Regent Hotel.

Nekotech, in partnership with its USA no-collateral educational loan financiers, allocated $100 million to Ghana and $25 million to Liberia to provide full funding for students with a GPA of 3.0/4.0, holders of a Bachelor's degree in any field and aged 21-40 for Ghana and 25-40 for Liberia.

The symbolic checks awarded directly to the qualified graduates of the two countries were received by government officials at the Africa-US Presidential Forum on STEM AI MBA, held at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ, USA, on September 19, 2024.

Since then, the two countries have been preparing qualified students for the spring and fall 2025 intakes.

"This is a very exciting time for Ghana and Liberia, as Sierra Leonean and Malawian students have been enjoying this program since 2021.

President Lazarus Chakwera won the Transform Nation Award, while former President Dr. Joyce Banda won the Trailblazer Award. These two Presidents are exemplary on our continent," said Rev. Dr. Ocansey.

Several African presidents are on the waiting list to join the Africa-US Presidential Forum to access the no-collateral educational loans and partial scholarships on offer through the Nekotech program on STEM AI MBA.

In Liberia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs has been highly instrumental in establishing the program, while in Ghana, through the Ministry of Education, the National Service Authority Director General received the $100 million on behalf of the government for the students.

In this new era of STEM, Artificial Intelligence, and MBA, students from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Stevens Institute of Technology is over 150 years old, and Nekotech is over 25 years old.
