The Ministry of Education and Sports, the Ghana Education Service and Ghana AIDS Commission, in collaboration with the United Nations Children Fund and the World Bank jointly organized it. Mrs Prempeh noted that even though the issue of HIV/AIDS had been "tackled from all angles", and that the knowledge about the disease was also widespread, the attitude of people towards sex, the main mode of transmission had not change. She therefore urged the teachers to impart the knowledge acquired at the workshop to help reduce the incidence of the disease among the youth.
