Students embark on evangelism programme

Twofo Praso (C/R), June 21, GNA - Eighty University students drawn from Ghana Fellowship of Evangelical Students (GHAFES) and International Fellowship of Evangelism Students (IFES) on Friday embarked on a three-week outreach programme on Evangelism in 18 communities in the Twifo-Hemang-Lower Denkyira District. Some of the communities are Twifo Nyinase, Twifo Mampong, Twifo Bepoben, Twifo Ayaase, Twifo Aboabo, Atii Morkwaa , Twifo Mintaso and Jukwaa.

Twofo Praso (C/R), June 21, GNA - Eighty University students drawn from Ghana Fellowship of Evangelical Students (GHAFES) and International Fellowship of Evangelism Students (IFES) on Friday embarked on a three-week outreach programme on Evangelism in 18 communities in the Twifo-Hemang-Lower Denkyira District. Some of the communities are Twifo Nyinase, Twifo Mampong, Twifo Bepoben, Twifo Ayaase, Twifo Aboabo, Atii Morkwaa , Twifo Mintaso and Jukwaa. The Reverend Mrs Janet Anyetey, programme officer, of Twifo Praso Area Development Programme, of World Vision, Ghana, who disclosed this to GNA said the programme was being sponsored by Praso Development Programme in conjunction with IFES and GHAFES. She said the objective of the programme is to expose the students to missionary work and to impact to the communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to seek spiritual and social transformation of the community. Mrs. Anyetey said during the programme, the students would do house-to-house Evangelism seminars in community transformation and assist in teaching the basic schools in the communities.
