Gomoa Jukwa ( C/R), July 6, GNA - The President of the Valley View University, Dr Seth Laryea, has advised students to avoid demonstrations and other activities that will derail their future. He charged them to use their talents and education to contribute to the growth of their communities and the nation.

Speaking at the second speech and prize giving day of the Jukwa Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Senior Secondary School at Gomoa Jukwa , Dr Laryea urged students to be originators and not "mere reflector of other people's idea" to overcome difficulties and obstacles in future. Dr Laryea stated that there were thousands of JSS leavers who would have loved to have second cycle education but could not do so due to economic constraints facing their parents and guardians. He stressed the need that to promote science education and to follow the word of God and Jesus Christ and said "there is confusion in education because the wisdom and knowledge of God have not been given their rightful place in the quest to understand life". Dr Laryea stated that "if you educate a person without God, you educate a clever devil" and called on students to strive to be disciplined and to respect authority.

Pastor Richard Ntriakwa, Director of the School appealed to the Ghana Education Service and the Gomoa District Assembly to assist the school to improve infrastructure . 06 July 05
