Prophet Samuel Kofi Vede, Resident Pastor of the Accra branch of Christ for the World Ministry, has advised students to learn very hard in order to achieve academic success.

He said they should also draw closer to God diligently and take their studies with vim instead of resorting to foul means to pass examinations.

Prophet Vede made the call when speaking to Ghana News Agency when the church offered prayers for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in Accra on Wednesday.

He said there is no human endeavour that could achieve success without assistance from God.

Prophet Vede told the candidates that the BECE is the beginning of a journey into real life and encouraged them to take the first step with hard work and respect and submit to the word of God if they want to be successful.

“At this time you should preserve yourselves as a worthy vessels to be used by God in order that you can become useful top society,’’ Prophet Vede said.

He expressed the hope that with God on their side, success would surely crown their efforts.
