humble, respectful and committed to God to enable them to overcome all temptations that might arise during the 2008 Election. Reverend Herbert Mensah, Founder and General Overseer of the Evangelistic Living Christ Ministry, made the call at special prayers for peaceful elections, organised by the Church, on Wednesday at Suhum in the Eastern Region.
He appealed to all political parties contesting the polls to carry out their campaigns peacefully, devoid of abusive words, rancour and intimidation and to tolerate each other's views.
Rev. Mensah urged all presidential contestants to collaborate efforts to ensure free, fair and peaceful elections. He called on all religious organisations to pray ceaselessly for peace and stability in the country. Rev. Mensah called on Ghanaians to forgive each other to promote love, unity, peace and understanding to accelerate national development. 4 Sept. 08
