Sunyani East MP takes on Alban Bagbin

The MP for Sunyani East, Hon Kwasi Ameyaw Cheremeh, would tomorrow ask the minister for Water Resources Works and Housing, Hon Alban Bagbin two crucial questions bordering water supply in the Sunyani Municipality.

The MP would first question the minister when expansion works would start on the Abesim Water Works Station to ensure sustainable and reliable water supply for Sunyani.

The second question by the MP, would be on the current government policy regarding counterpart funding by beneficiary communities towards rural water supply. Hon. Ameyaw Cheremeh hit the headlines when he drilled the Brong-Ahafo regional minister, Kwadwo Nyamekye Marfo, on the income and expenditure for the BA@50 celebrations.

His probing questions saw the regional minister retreating home to gather more information on activities which apparently went on without his knowledge.
