an hour before arrival

Koforidua, Nov. 16, GNA-The Koforidua Polytechnic branch of the Tertiary Education Students Confederacy (TESCON) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has suggested the closure of all roads to be used by the President and his vice an hour before their arrival to give sufficient time for the security personnel to take all measures needed to ensure their safety. This was contained in a press release by the organization at Koforidua on Friday a copy of which was made available to the Ghana News Agency (GNA).

TESCON explained that, their suggestion was not to suggest that the two first gentlemen are the best lives in the country but that they are the most two important personalities in the country whose safety must be of priority to the nation.

TESCON observed that, the President's accident and others that occurred within last week shows how unsafe the roads are, despite the interventions of government to improve the conditions of the roads in the country.

It therefore expressed it's gratitude to all those who helped in one way or the other during and after the unfortunate accident involving the President and wished him a speedy recovery.
