Tandan Assemblyman supports BECE candidates

The Assembly Member of Tandan Electoral Area in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region, Hon. Charles Kwesi has paid for the transportation fares for the Basic Education Certificate Examination Candidates of Ekpoku Tandan Junior High School in his area.

Additionally, he provided them with Can Malt and Meat Pie. Thirty candidates benefited from this gesture.

The support cost the benevolent Assemblyman GHC500.

The Basic Education Certificate Examination which was started on Monday, June 10, has come to an end Friday, June 14, 2019, successfully in Ellembelle District and Ghana as a whole.

The Ekpoku Tandan Junior High School wrote their exams at Nkroful Agricultural Senior High School (NASS).

Over 2,000 Candidates registered and sad for this year's Basic Education Certificate Examination in the Ellembelle District.

Speaking to the Candidates before departure, the benevolent Assemblyman, Hon. Charles Kwesi thanked God for helping them to end their exams peacefully and successfully.

"I thank God for helping you to finish your exams in a peaceful manner and in fact God has done well", he said.

He reminded them that this stage is the foundation of education so they should assist their parents at home to get money to further their education.

He also urged them to be obedient and humble to their parents and also lead good lives.

He emphasized, "Stay away from bad behaviours like sexual act, alcoholism, drug abuse, and peer influence".

He, therefore, seized the opportunity to appeal to them to seek God and he was optimistic that they will pass well and make his Electoral Area.

He also promised them to organize Pre-SHS classes for them.

On their part, the candidates became so excited and prayed to God to help the Assembly Member for the kind gesture.

They therefore promised to good children and learn hard at home.
