Tarkwa MP pledges SHS, hospital facility for Nsuaem community

Member of Parliament (MP) for Tarkwa Nsuaem, Hon. George Mireku-Duker has promised establish a Senior High School, football pitch and a hospital for the community.

He made this known during the climax of 'APA KESE' annual festival of Chiefs and people of Nsuaem on Saturday, December 8, 2018.

Presenting his speech, the Member of Parliament said government is concerned about the provision of quality education for the area.

"We recognize that, if we make education a priority, we tackle all aspect of human development. He further stated categorically that, plans are far advanced in the construction of this edifice. This in a way, will sell the name of Nsuaem nationwide as student of diverse locations will be posted to the school and also create employment", he stressed.

He also indicated that his outfit is working tirelessly with Ministry of Roads and Highway to fully commence work on the Nsuaem-Mile-5 Road as earlier promised by the Sector Minister, Hon. Kwesi Amoako-Atta.

"We will construct an Ultramodern Hospital furnished with the needed facilities to improve your healthcare delivery".

"The government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is on course to deliver on the promise made in the 2016 electioneering period geared to transform Ghana and improve the lives of Ghanaians", he affirmed.

Hon Mireku-Duker also urged chief of Nsuaem,Nana Kwamena Adade II and his Council of Elders urged them set a special day among the days of the week as a MARKET DAY to facilitate trading activities in the Community.

He also encouraged his constituents to use this day to Commemorate the frontiers of the "APA KESE" in promoting peace, unity and cordial coexistence among each other in Nsuaem.

He further thanked them for exercising restraint for his NPP government since the inception of the imposed ban on small scale mining and promised the NPP government will soon lift the ban.

A cash prize of Five Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢ 50,000) was also presented to Nananom (chiefs) to support the course.
