Taxi driver dies in tragic head-on collision at Ejisu

A taxi driver identified as Isaiah has died following a head-on collision between his taxi and a Ford Transit bus at Ejisu near the Old Metro FM

The update was shared in a post by Ask Ghana on social media on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

“Tragic news has emerged of the death of a beloved taxi driver, Isaiah, who perished following a head-on collision between his taxi and a bus at Ejisu, near Old Metro FM. Reports indicate that the crash was caused by a recklessly driven Ford Transit," it stated.

According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the Ford Transit reportedly fled the scene after the accident.

Isaiah reportedly suffered the loss of both legs and was subsequently rushed to the hospital, where he died from the injuries.

"Following the collision, the Ford Transit driver fled the scene, while Isaiah, who had reportedly suffered the loss of both legs, was immediately transported to Living Waters Hospital before being transferred to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries,” the post added.
